RAMA is an independent, member-driven Non-Profit Company and civil-interest organisation for documented African migrants — people legally residing in South Africa under a valid permit, visa, permanent residence permit, asylum-seeker permit, or recognised refugee status.
We are a partner to government, not an adversary. Our sole constituency is documented migrants: individuals, families and business owners across South Africa, the continent, and the diaspora. RAMA is primarily member-funded and may also receive grants, donations, sponsorships and programme funding, provided these do not compromise its independence.
Read MoreSubscription-based, priced to be accessible while sustaining RAMA's protection, advocacy and economic-empowerment programmes. Certain subsidised, financial or resource-intensive services are progressively introduced, subject to eligibility, available resources and the RAMA Membership Terms and Conditions.
